Nightmare Custom Cycles opened 7 years ago in Jedburg, SC. We started out just doing basic maintenance on scoots. Then the demand to create unique customs became apparent.
We began doing custom work and building bikes. The response to the bikes built at our shop was tremendous. Nightmare began winning trophies and prizes at numerous bike shows, both locally and up and down the East Coast. He quickly picked up the nickname of "the Jesse James of Jedburg"! Even in our tiny shop, we accepted commissions to build custom bikes for customers as far away as Alaska, Illinois and Florida. We were also honored to be able to build the 2008 GiveAway bike for the Hogs on the High Seas Rally named Pirate's Promise. She went to her new home in November 2008. In 7 years, he has built 18 one off custom bikes and sold them to very happy owners both locally and long distance.
We quickly outgrew the rented space and have recently opened our newer, bigger shop in the town of Harleyville! We are in the heart of downtown, right across from the BP gas station and next door to the railroad tracks. Harleyville is a quaint little Southern town with beautiful old homes, big trees and lots of hospitality. There is a feeling of well being and graciousness in this town that is hard to find nowadays. We love this little town.
Our techs and ourselves try hard to satisfy your wants and needs for your bike. Whether it's a custom build or just an oil change, your bike is important to us. Yes, mistakes can happen (to anybody). We make it right and everyone is happy. Bashing other shops is low class and in bad taste. If you have a problem with us or any other shop, all we ask is a chance to make it right by you.
Lots of shops call themselves "custom".
Since when is an oil change custom? Since when does screwing on catalog bought mirrors make you a builder? We build from the frame up, often making parts that are not available. Although we do service on all makes and models, we are a custom shop.
We have always been and will always be
Nightmare Custom Cycles.
